Victoria Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 83-year-old woman, Thaia Nguyen.
They say Ms Nguyen was last seen on Currajong Street in St Albans about 3pm on Tuesday.
She is described as Asian, about 150 centimetres tall with a medium build and grey hair.
She was last seen wearing a purple jacket, white hat and carrying a walking stick.
Police say Ms Nguyen is known to frequent the St Albans and Footscray.
Police have released an image of Thaia in the hope someone recognises her and is able to provide information on her whereabouts.
