South Brisbane police are seeking urgent assistance from the community to help locate a 58-year-old man reported missing on New Year’s Eve.
Police say Tama Edwards (pictured) was last seen leaving a facility on Cornwall Street before 6.30pm last night, heading towards Ipswich Road.
“Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare, due to a medical condition. Tama may appear disorientated and confused if approached,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Tama is described as a Pacific Islander, around 175cm tall and of a solid build. He has short grey hair and a grey beard.
“Police are urgently appealing to anyone who may see Tama, or know of his whereabouts, to come forward.”
