A search is underway for an 81-year-old woman missing in the Nepean area.
Pauline Bassett was last seen at a bus stop on Brisbane Street, near Sydney Street, Oxley Park, about 12.50pm yesterday.
She was due home later that day however, when she failed to return her family reported her missing to police.
“Officers from Nepean Police Area Command commenced a search in Canberra Street, Oxley Park, and surrounding areas without success,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“A wider search, with the assistance of PolAir took place however she was unable to be located.”
The search will continue today.
Concerns are held for welfare due to recent health concerns.
Pauline is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall with a medium build and short white hair. She was wearing a thin grey long jumper with blue pants and slip-on shoes.
