Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 78-year-old Northcote woman.
It is believed the woman, known as Margaret, left her Northcote home between 3am and 6am this morning.
“Police and family have concerns for Margaret’s welfare as she has a medical condition,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
Margaret is described as being 167cm tall with a slim build, green eyes and grey hair. She was last seen wearing a beige jumper, black or blue jeans, black shoes, and is possibly carrying a red bag.
“It’s believed she may have attempted to travel to a previous address in Preston which no longer exists,” police said.
“Margaret is known to travel by public transport.”
