A man in his 70s has died after a single-vehicle crash at Pokolbin.
Police say that at around 10.10am yesterday, emergency services were called to McDonalds Road at Pokolbin, following reports a Honda CRV, travelling south, had left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver, a man – believed to be aged in his 70s – died at the scene.
The front-seat passenger, a woman – also believed to be aged in her 70s – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital for suspected fractures. She is reportedly in a stable condition.
