Did you pick up missing man?

As a coordinated search continues for 78-year-old Dallarnil man William Hetherington, who has been missing since October 9, police are calling on any motorist who may have picked up the missing man to come forward.

Extensive aerial and land searches, involving police, SES, family and the local community have not located the missing 78-year-old man from his rural Dallarnil address.

William, who is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with short, grey hair and green eyes, has a medical condition and gave fears are now held for his safety and wellbeing, Queensland Police said in a statement today.

“Police urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of William since Saturday October 9, as he may have been picked up by a passer-by on the Isis Highway at Dallarnil,” QPS said.
