The daughter of a man missing from Canberra since 2015 has joined with Police to launch an appeal for information about his disappearance.
Robert Hal Jacob has not been seen since Thursday, 12 November 2015 at the Civic Bus Interchange in Canberra’s city.
His daughter reported him missing on 3 December 2015 after not hearing from her father over the preceding weeks.
She said his lack of contact was considered out of character for Robert.
“Police are urging anyone with information, no matter how small the information may seem, to come forward,” ACT Policing said in a statement today.
“It may be the missing piece needed to locate Robert.”
“Robert never owned a phone and lived alone. He frequented inner city public places.
“At the time of his disappearance Robert had medical issues.
“Over the five years, Robert has made no contact with family or friends.”
Robert is described as being of slim build, Caucasian in appearance, 179cm (5’8”) in height, thin build, short greying dark brown hair, and brown eyes.
“His left thumb has limited mobility. He has a tattoo on his left forearm graphic of barbed wire, Ned Kelly, Mum and Dad,” Police said.
“On his left arm and shoulder is tattooed Bianca, and Briony and on his right shoulder is the tattoos of Adam and Lauren.”
