WA’s City of Swan Council has announced it will continue to deliver its Community Care Services, which provide support and programs to local seniors and people with a disability.
Council made the decision at its November meeting following an extensive review process.
“Council noted the consistent high quality standards being delivered by the City, and decided that we are best placed to continue delivering these services, which include support-at-home, transport and disability support programs,” it said in a statement.
“We look forward to continuing to support our clients, and thank our employees and volunteers for all of their invaluable work and commitment.
“We will now work on planning for the future, including preparations for the Federal Government’s new Support at Home Program, scheduled to be introduced in July 2024.”
