The body of a 54-year-old man reported missing from the state’s Mid North Coast has been located.
Police say the man was last seen leaving a home on Ocean Street, South West Rocks, about 2.30pm on Monday, April 19.
“Officers from Mid North Coast Police District were notified when he failed to return and commenced extensive inquiries into his whereabouts,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“About 4.45pm yesterday, the man’s body was located in the National Park at Arakoon,” Police said.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
“Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance,” NSW Police said.
