Queensland Police are appealing for public information in relation to a robbery at Springfield Lakes yesterday in which a 62-year-old woman was threatened by knife-wielding men.
Initial investigations indicate that at around 3.30am, two males entered a Jupiter Street residence armed with knives, before threatening and demanding property from an occupant, Police said in a statement.
“The males stole several items from the property and fled the scene on foot,” Police stated.
“The occupant, a 62-year-old woman, was not physically injured.”
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the Springfield Lakes area around the time of the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam vision, to come forward.
