A 50-year-old Kuluin man who was allegedly seriously assaulted in Maroochydore on December 19 has died in hospital overnight.
Queensland Police have charged a 31-year-old with grievous bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
He is next due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on February 19 where his charges are expected to be upgraded.
