A 74-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after being crushed by a bull on a property south west of Taree last night.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said the crew were called to a property at Krambach around 9pm last night.
“A 74-year-old male sustained multiple leg fractures when he was crushed by a bull he was loading onto a trailer,” the spokesperson said.
“The male was treated on scene by NSWA paramedics before he was transported by ambulance to rendezvous with the helicopter which landed near Krambach township.”
The Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team stabilised the patient prior to being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
