Victoria has recorded 1,069 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths of people aged in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s today.
There are now 15,607 active cases of the deadly virus in Victoria, with 579 people hospitalised with COVID-19, of whom 90 are in intensive care and 55 are being ventilated.
More than 11,000 Victorians were vaccinated yesterday.
Vic Health says 84.5% of Victorians aged 12 and older are now fully vaccinated, and 92.7% have received one dose.
The state’s restrictions are set to ease further once 90% of Victorians aged 12 and over have been fully vaccinated, which is expected to occur on or around November 24.
