Australian cricket legend, Shane Warne, has tested positive for COVID-19 while coaching in England.
Mr Warne, who is 51 and fully vaccinated against COVID-19, is currently coaching the London Spirit side in the ‘The Hundred’ cricket tournament in London, which began just 10 days ago.
A coaching colleague has reportedly also tested positive. Both men are now in isolation.
“After feeling unwell this morning, Shane returned a positive lateral flow test and will isolate from the squad and support staff whilst he awaits PCR (test) results,” a Spirit statement said.
