Police appeal for missing golden girl, Peggy

Police are appealing for public assistance following the disappearance of ‘Peggy’ the Golden Retriever from a Frankston South address earlier this week.

It is believed Peggy was stolen from a McComb Boulevard address sometime between 10pm on February 16 and 6am the next day.

“At the time the address was secured, and Peggy had no way of exiting the premises on her own,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

“Officers do believe someone has entered the home during the night and made off with Peggy.

“Police have released images of Peggy in the hope someone recognises her and can inform police on her current whereabouts.”

Peggy is two-and-a-half years old, with a thick blonde coat and was wearing a brown leather collar at the time.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
