A Woy Woy small business has been formally recognised in State Parliament after coming to the aid of a customer in need.
Member for Gosford, Liesl Tesch made a ‘Community Recognition Statement’ in Parliament endorsing the efforts of Lifestyle Mattresses and its owners Craig Lawrence and Dayle Draper (pictured with Ms Tesch) after they helped a local family to find a bed for a disabled relative.
Ms Tesch told Parliament, “I wish to acknowledge local small business, Lifestyle Mattresses Woy Woy who have demonstrated their commitment to providing a five-star service to its customers and my community.”
“I have been notified by one of my constituents of a family searching for an appropriate bed for one of its members suffering from Parkinson’s disease.”
She said the family approached several major bedding companies in their attempts to find a suitable bed but weren’t satisfied with the product range or the level of customer service on offer.
“On a whim, this family visited Lifestyle Mattresses where they were able to find the bed they required, had it delivered within seven days, installed, had the previous bed removed and all within a reasonable price,” said Ms Tesch.
“This family was thrilled by the standard of service and care provided.”
