Senior Victorians and Carer Card holders are being reminded to get back out there and enjoy Victoria with eight days of free public transport from March 21 to 28.
Providing there are no restrictions in place, the free public transport week has been arranged for this month, after the October 2020 Seniors week was pushed back due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and public health guidelines.
While there are no Festival events taking place in March, cardholders will be able to jump on public transport for free to visit attractions across Melbourne as well as regional and rural locations for a variety of exciting activities and attractions.

With V-Line bookings now open, cardholders can get out of the city and visit the Bendigo Gallery for the 70s fashion icon Dame Mary Quant Fashion Revolutionary retrospective, exploring her influence on women’s fashion springing from the youthful spirit of the 1960s; or visit the Ballarat Begonia Festival with its creative display of Begonias in the Conservatory at the gardens featuring over 700 Begonias.
Cardholders can also take advantage of activities on offer in Melbourne including trips to the National Gallery of Victoria, picnics in the park, visits to the Queen Victoria or South Melbourne markets as well as the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Southbank promenade is filled with indoor and outdoor cafes, restaurants and live entertainment to enjoy.
The Melbourne Museum and State Library are also great Melbourne icons reopened to the public.
