Estia Health Taree residents on the NSW Mid North Coast joined hands to make a banner during the Victoria COVID-19 lockdown to show their support for their fellow aged care residents.
The residents painted their hands onto a giant banner, with their names written underneath each hand, as a gesture of love and support for the state that was at the time battling a deadly second wave of coronavirus in August.
“It sits in pride of place in one of our central services office to remind us of Estia Health’s One Family motto and values and continues to be a message that brings us strength,” the Estia Health team said on social media.
