Estia Health Benalla residents have thrown a surprise afternoon tea to mark the first anniversary of the facility’s Executive Director, Faye Audino.
An Estia Health spokesperson said residents were keen to mark the occasion.
“Resident Keith read a beautiful poem to the room about the wonderful job Faye has done,” the spokesperson said.
Long-standing Estia resident, Joyce, presented Faye with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of all the residents.
“Although Faye said she is the lucky one to be able to guide the home and the team in the care of the residents.”
Ms Audino described the residents at the Benalla facility as a great bunch of people.
“I hope to be able to spend more time with them all and learn more about their lives” Ms Audino said.
“I’m certainly glad I made the move to be part of Estia Health Benalla.”
