Woman loses fingers in saw accident

A 62-year-old Tamworth woman has been airlifted to hospital after suffering three severed fingers while using a circular saw.

After initial treatment by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene yesterday afternoon, the woman was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

She is reportedly in a stable condition in JHH.
