A woman has died and three people have been injured after a boating crashed into a jetty in Chelmer on the Brisbane River yesterday afternoon.
Police say preliminary investigations indicate that at around 4.40pm an aluminium dinghy was travelling on the Brisbane River when the vessel hit a private jetty.
A 21-year-old Ipswich woman died at the scene. Two men and a child were transported to hospital with minor injuries and are in a stable condition.
Forensic investigators are now investigating the cause of the crash.
