A woman has been charged after police recovered more than 100 stolen parcels, mail and personal identity documents from a unit in Arncliffe earlier today.
Police had been told multiple parcels had been stolen from the foyer of a unit complex on Bonar Avenue over the past 10 days.
Their inquiries led officers to a ute parked in the building’s basement where officers recovered 32 items, including parcels and other property suspected of being stolen.
Officers from St George Police Area Command executed a search warrant on a unit within the same complex where a further 76 items suspected of being stolen were found, as well as multiple ID documents, clothing, an electronic stun device and drugs suspected to be Ice.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested at the unit and taken to Kogarah Police Station where she has been charged with four theft offences.
The woman has been granted conditional bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court on December 1.
