Woman absconds from medi-hotel

South Australia Police are seeking urgent assistance from the public to identify and locate a woman who absconded from a city medi-hotel last night.

“The woman had arrived from Darwin and was transferred to a city medi-hotel, but left the hotel about 7.45pm last night, Saturday 13 November,” SA Police said in a statement today.

“It will be alleged she provided false identification to police on arrival in South Australia.”

She was last seen wearing the same clothing as seen in the CCTV image (pictured) and may have gotten into a taxi near the intersection of Pulteney Street and Rundle Mall, Adelaide, Police said.

Anyone who knows the woman’s identity or her whereabouts; or any taxi or any other private passenger services who might have transported this person, is asked to contact police immediately on 131 444.

Police say the woman tested negative to COVID-19 on arrival in SA.
