A 70-year-old woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash earlier this month at Pimpama.
Police say that at 5.25pm on December 16, the woman was driving her car south on Creek Street when a car heading north has turned right into Mirambeena Drive and collided with her car.
“The 70-year-old Ormeau woman was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital, however she died in the early hours of this morning,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the other car, a 21-year-old Pimpama man, was transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.”
