A 61-year-old woman had died in a collision in Reservoir this morning.
Investigators were told a car turning into Phillip Street from Mahoneys Road collided with an oncoming truck at around 6.50am.
“The female driver and sole occupant of the car was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
The male truck driver was uninjured in the incident and stopped at the scene.
“Sadly, the driver of the car, a 61-year-old Reservoir woman, died a short time later in hospital. An investigation into the collision is ongoing,” police said.
