Woman, 60, airlifted after Dubbo crash

Dubbo Police are conducting inquiries into a collision which left three people injured yesterday.

At around 8.20pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to the intersection of the Mitchell Highway and Arthur Butler Drive in Dubbo, following reports a B-Double truck and a Toyota Camry had collided.

“The driver of the Toyota – a 35-year-old man and the 51-year-old truck driver were taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for mandatory testing,” NSW Police said in a statement today.

“Three passengers in the Toyota – aged 37 and two aged 60 were taken to Dubbo Base Hospital with serious injuries.

“The 37-year-old man was later released with minor injuries. The 60-year-old woman was later airlifted to Westmead Hospital Sydney in a serious condition.”

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are underway.
