Vision released of hit and run biker

Logan police investigating a hit and run at Loganlea yesterday which left a man with serious injuries have released vision of a motorcycle rider who may be able to assist with their investigations.

Police say the 57-year-old victim was transported to hospital with a broken jaw, broken and missing teeth and a broken leg.

“Anyone who recognises the trail bike or has any information in relation to the male rider is urged to contact police,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

“The motorcycle is described as a white and black trailbike.

“The rider was male, believed to be aged in his early 20s, Caucasian, with brown hair and wearing a white helmet and green poncho.”

The motorcycle was last seen travelling on to Short Street and heading towards Allora Street.

“Evergreen Park is situated in Short Street with the incident occurring adjacent to the dog park and along the pedestrian path, approximately 100mts from Short Street,” QPS said.

The injured man had been with his wife and walking their dog at the time of the incident.
