A man in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s west last night.
About 10.20pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to Werris Creek Road, Duri, just south of Tamworth, after reports a truck had left the road and crashed into a tree.
“Officers from Oxley Police District and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene a short time later,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the truck, believed to be a man in his 50s, died at the scene. He is yet to formally be identified.”
