Searchers have found the body of a two-year-old girl who went missing on a large property in Tara, Western Downs yesterday afternoon.
The tragic discovery was made by searchers at around 1am this morning, who located the toddler’s body in a rural dam.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Yesterday afternoon, police led a joint-agency search to locate the little girl who was reported missing on a 1,500 hectare rural property at around 3.30pm.
Police coordinated an extensive search with the assistance of the QPS Dog Squad, Polair, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, State Emergency Services, and local members of the public.
