In yet another instance of a farmer being trampled by cattle in the last 48 hours, a 46-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital after an incident on a property at East Barrington today.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Ambulance New South Wales shortly before 4pm this afternoon, responding to a report that a cow had trampled a woman on a rural property.
“The Helicopter rendezvoused with NSW Ambulance in Gloucester township who conveyed the patient from the property,” the Westpac Rescue crew said in a statement.
“NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team have treated and stabilised the 46-year-old female for multiple injuries before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a stable condition for further treatment.”
