It’s not every birthday you get a card from Her Majesty, The Queen, but Thelma Tuckey got exactly that in Dubbo this week, as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
The centenarian marked the occasion with balloons, flowers and a visit from NSW Police Legacy Chair, Detective Superintendent Gary Merryweather and Dubbo Police officer in charge, Inspector Natalie Antaw.
Thelma has been a resident of Dubbo since her husband, the late NSW Police Sergeant George Tuckey was stationed there many years ago.
Detective Superintendent Merryweather and Inspector Natalie Antaw presented Thelma with a beautiful bouquet of Spring blooms on behalf of NSW Police Legacy to celebrate the special occasion.
