Prahran locals have shown their appreciation for their local police, dropping off a cake for the hardworking officers.
“The support of our community is greatly appreciated during these unprecedented times … it well and truly brightened our day”, the Victorian police said on its Instagram page.
The cake makers, identified only as Claire and Rhys, wrote a note to the Prahran station staff, saying: “Thank you for all the hard work you do for the community, it doesn’t go unappreciated. This year has been challenging for everyone but in particular the police force. We are so grateful that you are always there when we need you.”
