Snakes stolen in Bannockburn burglary

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate goods stolen in a Bannockburn burglary in December – including four distinctive snakes, war medals and a 2012 Land Rover.

Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives say the offenders broke into a home on Garonne Drive sometime between 6am on December 12 and 4.30pm on December 13.

“The offenders stole war medals, four distinctive snakes, electrical goods, motorbike equipment and a white 2012 Land Rover Discovery registered ZBC857,” Police said in a statement.

Police say noone was home at the time of the incident.

Police have released images of the medals, snakes and the car in the hope that someone recognises them and can assist police with their enquiries.
