A second man has been charged as part of an investigation into an alleged serious assault of a 58-year-old man in Narangba in September last year.
It will be alleged the 38-year-old Nanango man was one of three people who entered a Coochin Avenue residence shortly before midday on September 25th and assaulted the man before leaving the scene, Queensland Police said in a statement.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and was hospitalised for two weeks.
The man was arrested in Nanango on Tuesday and has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, enter dwelling with intent, robbery in company, deprivation of liberty, evade police, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of possession of dangerous drug (methylamphetamine, diazepam and cannabis).
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on March 6th.
Investigations are continuing in relation to the third person involved in the matter and detectives are appealing for anyone with further information to contact police.
