Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) detectives investigating the attempted murder of a police officer at Salisbury earlier this week have arrested a second man over the incident.
“The 29-year-old was taken into custody in Carew Street, Yarrabilba around 11am today without incident and is assisting with inquiries,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Investigators would again like to thank the community for their assistance with the investigation to date and are continuing to encourage anyone with information or those with footage, who have not yet come forward, to contact police.
“The Queensland Police Service would also like to thank the community for the positive support for Senior Constable Luke Zannier, who has been discharged from hospital and is now at home.”
