The Western Australia Police Force have paid tribute to Police Dog ‘Storm’ (pictured) who passed away on New Year’s Day.
“PD Storm served WA Police from 2011 to 2018. During her distinguished career she made many arrests and was involved in a number of incidents such as the Carlisle deli shooting where her paw was grazed by a bullet,” WA Police said in a social media post.
“PD Storm was a senior WA Police dog and was often called upon for specific assignments where experience was needed.
“She enjoyed her retirement being showered with toys and playing with her friends at the park.”
RIP PD Storm – may you have calm seas ahead.
