Renewed appeal for missing 81-year-old

Police are again appealing for public assistance to locate an 81-year-old man missing from the state’s Central Coast.

Mr Dusan Dimich (pictured) was last seen leaving a shopping complex on Railway Street, Woy Woy, about 9.30am on Monday, November 2.

Family members contacted police later that day and officers from Brisbane Water Police District commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police are investigating reports that Mr Dimich was sighted at Woy Woy train station and the Sydney CBD later that morning, and tracked to Hornsby Train Station that afternoon, coming from Central Station.

He has not been seen since.

Police and family members hold grave concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions.

Mr Dimich is described as being of Caucasion appearance with a medium build, between 180cm and 190cm tall with a hunch, short grey hair and brown eyes. Mr Dimich also wears hearing aids in both ears, has a mole on his right cheek and wears dark glasses.

He was last seen wearing a red and white flannelette long-sleeved shirt, a light blue undershirt with white horizontal stripes, blue jeans and grey joggers.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Dimich or know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
