A 53-year-old Detective Sergeant from the Queensland Police South Eastern Region has been charged with drink driving.
In a statement, Queensland Police said, “It will be alleged the officer was driving his private motor vehicle at the time.”
“He is expected to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court. At this time, the matter is being considered by the Ethical Standards Command for investigation.”
