The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia is seeking public assistance to help locate a two-year-old girl who has been missing since June 6th.
The Court made a Recovery Order on 6 June authorising the Australian Federal Police and State and Territory police forces to find and recover Olena Hrobelko (pictured with her mother), and to place her in the care of the father.
Olena has light brown hair and blue coloured eyes. There are concerns for her welfare.
Olena is believed to be with her mother Emily Janetzki, aged 35. Emily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall and of a thin build. She is known to have very long hair which is frequently dyed to change the colour.
The whereabouts of Emily and Olena is unknown but they are likely to be spending time in the North-East Victorian town of Myrtleford, or in Lavington, located near the regional city of Albury on the border of NSW/Victoria. They are believed to be travelling in a blue Mazda with NSW registration, CGM85P.
Emily was last seen wearing a dark coloured jumper, black jeans and black boots and Olena was last seen wearing light coloured pants and a jumper.
If anyone has information about the whereabouts of the child Olena or her mother, Emily, please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
