Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred yesterday in the carpark of an Australind shopping centre.
Police say that at around 3.50pm, an 87-year-old woman driving a brown Mazda Tribute station wagon struck two pedestrians which resulted in them being pinned against other parked vehicles in the carpark.
The pedestrians, a 33-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter received serious injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital.
The 7-year-old girl was then transferred by plane to the Perth Children’s Hospital intensive care unit.
Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the brown Mazda Tribute in the area prior to the crash.
