South Hedland Detectives are seeking information from the public to assist with their investigation into the assault of a woman in her 60s that occurred in Newman in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say that between midnight and 12.30am, the woman was assaulted outside a home on Armstrong Way.
“The woman received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Newman Hospital,” WA Police said in a statement.
“Detectives wish to speak to anyone who was in the area around the above time who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who has dash-cam, CCTV or mobile phone vision.”
