Police search for missing twins

NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to find twin babies missing from Grafton since Monday.

Police say the three-month old boy and girl – Lekaun and Lenikawa Hippi – were last seen with teenage family members in Victoria Street, Grafton, about midday on Monday.

It’s believed the babies are now travelling with the teens.

“Concerns are held for their welfare and officers from the Coffs/Clarence Police District are conducting inquiries to locate them,” Police said in a statement.

The twins are described as Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are urging any who has seen the twins, or the relatives they are believed to be with, to contact police.
