Police search for missing boy

Police are conducting a search operation for a 12-year-old boy reported missing from the Joyner area earlier today.

Investigators are seeking public assistance to help locate the child, who was last seen near an address on Riverside Circuit about midday today.

“Police and family hold concern for the boy as he has a medical condition and due to his age,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

“Police, with assistance from members of the public, are currently conducting land searches within the Joyner area near where the boy was last seen.”

The boy (pictured) is described as Caucasian with light brown hear and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with a tropical pattern and tan shorts.

Anyone with information regarding the boy’s whereabouts is urged to come forward.
