Queensland Police have commenced a search for a 78-year-old man, reported missing from the Biggenden area.
Police say William Hetherington (pictured) suffers from a medical condition and last spoke with family on the phone around 5.50pm on Saturday.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall with grey hair, and green eyes.
“Police and family have concerns for his welfare and he maybe confused or disorientated,” QPS said in a statement.
Police are currently searching his rural property at Dallarnil, north east of Biggenden.
He may have left the property and police are urgently appealing for anyone who has seen William or has further information to come forward, police said.
