Queensland Police are investigating the death of a 61-year-old woman whose body was found at a Crows Nest home shortly before 2pm on Monday.
“A crime scene has been established while inquiries are made into the circumstances surrounding her death,” Police said in a statement.
Police are awaiting results of an autopsy to determine the 61-year-old’s cause of death.
State Emergency Services volunteers are assisting officers in a search of the area.
