Victoria Police are investigating the brazen theft of a very large fibre glass swimming pool from Wandana Heights.
“It’s believed unknown offender/s have entered a construction site on Moncrieff Crescent sometime between 10.30pm-11pm on 20 October,” Victoria Police said in a statement today.
A truck has been used to load the 7-meter pool worth $14,000, before driving away, Police said.
They say the truck had grey/silver tape or plastic covering over what may be a company name on both sides of the cab as well as yellow ‘oversize’ signs on the front and rear.
The pool is described as a slate colour and the brand is ‘modern pool’.
Investigators have released an image of the truck leaving the premises.
Anyone who recognises the truck or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or file a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
