Police hunt two men after vicious home invasion

Midland Detectives are seeking public assistance to identify two masked men who broke into a home in High Wycombe and viciously assaulted and pepper sprayed a 65-year old woman.

Police say that at round 1.45am last Thursday (November 5) two men, with their faces covered, forced entry into a home on Chullwyne Mews and were confronted by the occupants, a 65-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man.

One of the offenders sprayed pepper-spray in the woman’s face and assaulted her causing a serious head injury. The 65-year-old was admitted to hospital with bleeding on the brain.

Police say both victims have been left traumatised by the incident.

The offenders stole various items including some jewellery before fleeing the home.

The investigation is ongoing and Detectives wish to speak to several people who were seen in the area of the Ollie Worrell Reserve around the time of the incident, who they believe have information which can assist them.

The people being sought by police are:
• A man on a skateboard with a guitar;
• Two males riding bicycles towards Ollie Worrell Reserve; and
• The driver of a dark coloured sedan that was seen driving along Worrell Avenue.
