Police hunt after girls approached

Riverina Police are appealing for information after three girls were approached by a man in a car who blew them kisses and asked them to get into his vehicle.

Police say that at around 6.45pm on Monday, three teenage girls were walking along Fernleigh Road, Glenfield Park, when they were approached by a man driving a sedan.

“Police have been told the man spoke to the girls – aged between 14 and 15 – before offering them a lift multiple times and blowing them kisses,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“The girls declined and returned home to notify their parents.”

The incident was reported to police and an investigation commenced by officers from Riverina Police District.

“As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries,” police said.

He is described as being of Indian or Asian appearance and was wearing a white shirt at the time.

Police are also appealing for anyone who may have seen a Ford Falcon Sedan XT (FG series) with black rims (pictured) and a white registration plate in the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
