Police appeal for witnesses to hit-and-run crash

Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a hit-and-run crash in Keilor Lodge last week.

Police believe that a heavy vehicle collided with a black Toyota Yaris that was parked in the emergency lane on the Calder Freeway about 2.30pm on Thursday, October 10th.

“Police believed the heavy vehicle may be a Hino 500 and will have significant damage to the left-hand side.”

Police have released images of the damaged Toyota, in the hope that someone with information may came forward.
