ACT Police have launched a public appeal to find the owner of several military medals and badges that were handed in to Police earlier this week.
In a statement, ACT Policing said that on Tuesday March 2nd, a member of the public attended Belconnen Police Station to hand in a small carry case (pictured) containing a number of old military badges and medals.
“The case was found in the grassland reserve next to the Barton Highway in Giralang,” Police said.
Police are appealing for the owner of the medals to come forward.
